A vibe coder works prompt-first: they describe the outcome to an AI coding agent, then read, correct and shape what comes back. The difference is speed of the first draft, not a lower standard of engineering. Everyone we place is a working developer who could build the same thing by hand — which is precisely why they can tell when the AI has produced something plausible but wrong.

Day to day: Claude Code and OpenAI Codex for agentic work inside an existing repository, Cursor and Windsurf as the editor, and GitHub Copilot for inline completion. For greenfield prototypes and internal tools we also work in Lovable, Replit Agent, Bolt.new, v0, Kimi Code and Firebase Studio. We pick the tool for the job rather than committing to one vendor, and we tell you which one we used and why.

Only if someone reads it. AI agents routinely produce code that runs and is still wrong — missing error handling, unhandled edge cases, subtle security gaps, and dependencies that were invented rather than installed. Every change we deliver goes through a senior engineer, and anything touching authentication, payments, personal data or telephony is reviewed line by line. That review is included in the rate, not an extra.

Both, and the existing-codebase work is where the tooling earns its keep. Agentic tools read a repository, follow its conventions and make changes across many files at once. We start by having the agent explain your code back to us, which surfaces where the real complexity is before anything is changed.

You own everything we deliver, with IP assigned to you, exactly as with any other engagement. We are open about AI being part of how it was built — we would rather tell you than have you find out. If your organisation has a policy restricting AI-assisted code, or requires particular tools to be excluded, tell us at the outset and we will staff and work accordingly.

For a greenfield build, a working prototype you can click through in days rather than weeks, with the caveat that a prototype is a prototype. For work in an existing system, expect the first week to be mostly reading: understanding the code, agreeing scope and getting a first reviewed change merged. We will tell you what we found rather than a progress percentage.
